The Psychological Neuroscience course is an introduction to general neuroscience and psychology topics of current relevance including drugs (i.e., Neuropsychopharmacology), mental disorders, neurological disorders, sex & gender, the effects of technology & social media on the brain, and multiple intelligences.

Class Times

The class meets once a month on Mondays from 6:00 - 9:00 pm ET starting Sept 26th.

Credentials

Certificate: Participation in this course will earn students a Certificate in Psychological Neuroscience once they have completed the first 6 classes successfully.

Part 2 (MicroDegree Program)

Students can apply for an additional 6 months of study following the first 6 classes as part of the MicroDegree program. The MicroDegree is an additional 6+ months of one-on-one mentorship study under the direct supervision of Dr. Mandy Wintink. Students work toward completing internet research and write a microthesis during this phase, based on a topic of special interest to them. Completion of the certificate course is a per-requisite for entrance into the MicroDegree, along with an undergraduate degree.
